  • To all the caffeine/alcohol phobes: As long as you drink water daily, caffeine and alcohol in moderation will not ruin your voice. I am a singer and a voice teacher. I drink 2-3 cups of coffee daily, and 2-3 servings of alcohol weekly. Now if you want to discuss things to not drink or eat leading up to performance, limit dairy items. They are phlegm producers. That's my 2 cents.

  • 1. Caffine DEhydrates you. So coffee and tea are both BAD. It's worse than not drinking anything

    2. The title. If you need to "repair" your voice after singing, then you are clearly not doing it right.

    3. You should be drinking enough water anyway. In order to keep your voice healthy you need to drink a whole lot of water. I believe it's have your weight(In pounds) then it's that many ounces of water your supposed to drink a day. So if you wheigh 200lbs, then you'd drink 100oz of water a day.

  • *Decaffinated tea or coffee. Caffeine is poison to your vocal chords

  • ohhh please just drink water -.- God gave it to us for a reason

  • Drink coffee..wow.. coffee makes my throat super dry..

  • At the end of many words that you speak, you squeeze off the air into a sort of quack. It is a tense-sounding, annoying habit that many English speaking Americans have.

    You have nice things, though.

  • Ummm... You don't drink coffee... It's a dehydrant.

  • why does it keep cutting at the end?

  • .....so I got drunk and sang very very very loud and tried to sing high and the following day my voice hurt - will this help for the same thing? :D

  • I'm 21 and you are hot! You will get all the attention from guys at college...oh and you seem to be a nice person
