I saw them in this Era one of the best live shows I ever saw. and people were just as wild when I saw them as in this video. Good times

Well the six album deal with Geffen didn't work out so well, but I'm glad we got eight albums since then (I think that kind of longevity does make you a can-rock legend). I didn't really grasp their versatility until I saw Chris Murphy and Pat Pentland's Hardcore band Reaganomix perform in Toronto. Chris has a mean set of pipes and he can really scream. Then again, the last time I saw them perform I think they had some of their kids on stage.

I saw them in the mid-90's and the guitarist was getting pissed people were stage diving and whatnot. He actually stopped playing once to scold the audience.
Chris Murphy then stage dived later, they seemed to be fighting.

i listen to hardcore and i "slam dance" at shows and stage dive and ive seen sloan 5 times and ive crowed surfed the last time and people got angry cause i jumped on some poeple i wish sloan played a show like this and they covered minor threat

That's a cool video! Some good shots of Jay rocking out there. I'd dance like that to Sloan, they've got some slam dance worthy songs in their catalogue.
