because the US is itself a circus/jungle/pigsty as you said about the DR.
a far worse jungle than most people are aware, far worse than the leaders of this country would like anyone around the world to believe.
-
I'd like to know, why?
I mean, being you a person who likes Zorn, and lives in LA, why, i mean, why someone like you would even think about living in this circus/jungle/pigsty? And don't you tell me that is because you like any of those, because i do too. haha.

im from long beach (its in LA), im dominican, not no european! haha..
i cant wait to go back to santo domingo, i would rather be there than here in the US to be honest.

Yeah... you don't live here. you are from, probably, Chicago or NY, or some other cool city like those. Or maybe you're european and you are make fun of me big time... I'm just kidding man, but really, this country reeks. Went to NY on january for the first time, heard and saw Zorn live, man, i can still hear his sax, and the music in that city, fuck man, i cried.

awesome.........
this music makes me wanna get naked and roll around in puddles of colorful paint, or something like that.

I removed what I said a year ago. I had digested Coltrane's Ascension and Coleman's Shape of Jazz to Come but had not given this time. Maybe a year ago I felt this was pretentious but then I realized music is not about being above another. This is pure expression "I can do what I want with music" was spoken by an eight year old on a Youtube video. SImple message but true. This is art, expression, and voice. It has no predictability. Just freedom. And we need freedom.
