The Speedies "Let Me Take Your Photo" (1979) is a music video shot in Brooklyn Heights, New York. It shows the power pop band demonstrating their special brand of high energy and positive pop attitude. In the background, the World Trade Center towers are visible. The band was all the rage in New York City at the time, with a hit single and playing at clubs such as Max's Kansas City and CBGBs. The song from this music video has been selected for a major broadcast advertising campaign for Digital Photography. This vintage video is now available for Internet video distribution - for the first time in more than 25 years.

Did anyone else notice how inferior the mixes on the Radio Heartbeat reissue are to the original versions found on the singles? I was really disappointed by that. In many cases the songs on the reissue have been remixed by what sounds like someone who had never heard the originals or had any appreciation for how the originals sounded. I was super bummed. I'd be curious to hear from someone in the band about this. It was especially noticeable on You Need Pop and Let Me Take Your Foto
I love real hardcore like this - the bad brains and black flag ripped these guys off so bad! I read an interview with H.R. who said he owes everything to this band, and Rollins said "the Speedies are the craziest hardcore gods of the world", so that should please you "copiamos". You silly clown. :)
