They mostly hated each other.
They had two different personalities, completely different.
Kobe was serious and wanted to be alone, when he was with Shaq.
And Shaq was energetic and a joker.
On the court they had good chemistry, but one time Shaq refused to pass to Kobe, they lost the game.
Off the court, they were like worst enemies.
That's why Shaq wanted out, and so did Kobe, they traded Shaq for Caron Butler and Lamar Odom
