@FreedomValentine, your comment that ancient greece was a better democracy than today is wrong, women were not allowed to vote and neither were slaves. Both of these took up a huge amount of the population. Today is a better and more free democracy.

I totally agree - he is a gentleman in the way he treats people. He doesn't resort to name-calling and mud-slinging which a lot of MPs do. London has made a good choice - let's see what he can do!
He might be a bit of a bumbling toff, but he is phenomenally intelligent and strives to do the right thing in his political life - a rare quality at times!
