  • The vid shows how to create a treeview but not how to use it as in the user clicking on a node.

  • @jamespiperca So, yeah, did I ever say I was going to implement that?

  • Just wondering could you make it so when you have a node selected it will display text in a listbox, and you could edit that text?

Then it would be like a note taking program.

  • I believe you could. I could make a tutorial on it if you want?

  • Root is pronounced Roo like Kangaroo and then T at the end. :)

  • Lol,I don't need help sounding out words. I say root both ways, it just depends. :)

  • that's funny - I'm using VS 2005 and the param for MyTreeViewControl.Nodes.Add(param) is type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeNode

    You're adding a string type.

  • treeView1.Parent.Add("New Parent")

  • Thanks for the video. It was very helpful to understand how the treeview works. If you upload some more videos with a more in depth tutorials about the treeview control it'd be appreciated too:)

  • Now that I can have a user insert roots, what about childs? I can't figure that out
