@yaboybigj09 I agree with you. Neal Schon is the band to me, his guitar style is what is consistant from the first album on. Granted, the sounds from the Steve Perry years are the best, but it is due to a lot more, like the keyboard style and the typical 80's sound. They had another guy in the 90's and it was good music, just a different sound. Bands evolve. Arnel sings well, but I agree with others that he is there to capure the sounds of the past.

They never got to super stardom until they soared to the top of the charts on Steve Perry's VOCALS that is a bonafide fact,They are still touring,trying to recapture the essence of Steve perry's vocals! But they can't ..Another thing with Arnel they can control him ..He is just a robot for them ..but with Perry he was and still is Journey ..The original Journey ..

@wafflesmommy how can you say that? they were Journey before he ever joined...look it up..not being mean but he was the lead singer not the band...things happen. I personally think Arnel is doing an amazing job...God Bless! :)
