  • @ManifestMiasma Inertial Dampers are required because of sudden accelerations using Impulse Drive. They always have to transition to and from Warp while Traveling on Impulse. So no, their velocity is never zero, local space-time or not. Without the Dampers they'd go splat on the bulkheads every time Impulse was engaged.

  • If ur in a hurry why Warp 1? Might as well use impulse drives.

  • Warp 1, Permission to lol?

  • Translation "get us the fuck out of here!"

  • @MrEriklenn

    thataway!!

(as in away from the shockwave!)

    :P

  • It would of been more awesome if it kept the part where it warps. Generations was one of my favourite films as a kid.

  • @TheIncredibleD1701 Also the warping of spacetime can create gravitational waves, which can exist in a vacuum because they're waves within the fabric of space itself.

  • That ensign was really fucking slow on the controls.

  • "Heading, sir?"

  • Wait...really? Hahahhahahaah
