US college nightmare

The American college dream is turning into a nightmare. Graduates are unable to pay off debt , save for the future and strive for a comfortable living anymore. College graduation is a wonderful event in any student's life, except for the mountain of debt that US students will have to pay off. The Young Turks Ana Kasparian says she thinks US high schools should offer a class that will prepare students to deal with college debt and the responsibility it entails.

LOL, Glamidol69, pretty much summs it up. However I a 52 years old, and entering my undergraduate studies, so I figure by the time I am 55 I should have my masters, and working till I hit 75, yeah..lol, just trying to help the humanist.

@GLAMIDOL69 isnt fucking true thou... a lot more student that graduate out of college will get a higher chance of getting a job if old people get out... the reason i said people like 60 years old need to retire is because there is no more reason for them to keep on working, they have their money and they have to enjoy it before death... while the graduate student do suicide and other crazy stuff cause they cant pay loan and all that stuff

All the guys with degrees. I have something to say to you all. I come from a third world country and earned a degree in Australia after 4 years along with 17000 left to pay. All throughout my uni life I never lived cheap, worked a much as I could and even after finding entry level office work full time, I continued working in restaurants part time. And that's how I paid my school loans plus have emergency funds. I'm happy to help if anyone needs free advice.

@haterz811 Yeah real fucking mature. Look at China or Australia where old people still work post their 60s but the job market is pretty good. It's the big corpororate bail outs that made the yanks suffer. Otherwise, US economy was much better. Do some fucking head searchin before you put your 2 cents!

the real problem for us is to wait for this old fuckers to retire... all of those old people that already have too much money and still wont fucking retire... trust me if you look at the big picture... if 60 years old and up retire all of the job will be available
