Bach needs to be played in a more solemn and uplifting way... listen to Helmut Walcha he perfectly knew how to play Bach.

I play the flute, so I find this tempo and the style to be OK...I don't know about organ music...

walcha knowledge concerning the corrects tempi is quite poor. if you want to listen true baroque tempi, listen koopman, weinberger, foccroulle, marie-claire alain in '90s, not walcha or richter...
