The Grateful Dead performing "Hard to Handle" at the Hollywood Palladium, on August 6, 1971. Considered by many to be one of the best audience recordings of the Dead ever made, a really beautiful Matrix version of the concert is available for free download over at live archive....

@Sweetsweetjimmy My brother and I were there and the chandeliers, and the hardwood floor, with the smell of hemp...opening was "High Country" bluegrass...the Dead were phenomenal......we still talk about this show.....

my fav version is live at filmore east 1971. seems more clean and correct to me. just an opinion.

@chasefukuoka61 Hay thanks for explaining I thought you might be using that peppermint hemp oil. I heard that stuff passes you out and makes you lethargic. Still a great photo love the colors from the original photo on the border. I am glad you could take my critic like a friend, and not get all weird about it. See Ya Chase!! Have fun. Maybe if I ever get back with mountain training, and climbing we can do a combined video collage.

thanks for posting this killer jam...had the bootleg back early 90's during the high school days and used to rock hard to it with my posse...... couldnt remember the date of the show heard other versions over the years but this one remained elusive until tonight...jerry's solos on it still give some goose bumps.....peace rock on ....

Hay I want to see more of your magic. This vid is a little plane with pig pen and all going no offense now. I love your stuff. I think you need to do your magic a little harder that's all. Peace now from the glacier heaven!!

@mountainboy32 - hi. thanks for your kind words. This was an upload from last spring. At that time I used only single photos. Most uploads after the summer involved multiple images so they move and change more. They also take a lot more time to make, lol...!
