OverClocked Remix - http://ff7.ocremix.org
Remixers: The Risen Dayspring

(This OCRemix track is not on the FF7 "Voices of the Lifestream" album. But it deserves to be, which is why I put it here)

  • i honestly disagree. This is worse than the original on the PS, the composition and variety of "instruments" used doesnt mend together well (even badly, at some spots) and the final mixing of them all feels unduly stuffed with as much as happened to be nearby, giving it an a amateurish beginners feeling about it. it didnt deserve to join the others on the Voices albums, i seriously think you should change the pic, its misguiding.

  • @Bulletmoaf your point is taken. It is not as polished as the others, but the more amateurish nature kind of makes it more like the PSX (no offense at all to the original OST). Some people like the remixes to be less liberal with modifying the source material, and that would certainly apply for this one. Although this was not in the Voices album, it was good enough to be accepted by the OCRemix judges for inclusion as a FF7 remix on the site

  • This would be Tifa's theme if she was fat.

  • I feel like I'm in an elevator... Or on hold.

It is nice though, good to work with it on in the background. xD

  • Not a fan of the whistling early on. It changes the mood. But much of the rest of it is okay. Not amazing but okay

  • this is not bad, but worse than the OST in my opinuion. Like the origional meets lounge music.

  • @XxDatBlonde1xX O Lawd, I lol'd

  • Sounds like Mike Portnoy did a track.

  • I can't get enough of this song. It really is well done in my opinion. The original song sucked, I would always have the mute on whenever it would play in the game.

  • @Requinix17 The track is like Cloud, then - didn't quite pass muster to be in SOLDIER, but we'll let him pretend for the time being.
