@flitcraft Yup, the church encoraged science. Thats why they put galilao on trial and imprisoned him. It's why they continue to support the idea of a creator god rather than current scientific research. The church might have had many observatories and scientists in ages past, but it was all based on furthering their doctrines. Any deviation from that was heavily punished. I strongly encourage you to approach a subject objectively.

Sorry for the long delay. Stef, you do not know your history., Galileo was not executed and the church in the middle ages ENCOURAGED science. For sure there were confrontations between scientists and the church at key points, but overall, this has been exaggerated out of all proportion. As for being indoctrinated, I am not a Catholic. I am a social historian. I strongly encourage you to read more.

.i was only smal time intimidated but not shot untill...i tried to make one step on the bases ground to get pix of the pilots of the sr 71 getting out of the plane.

considering the F-117 i dare to say some of them were testflying over

@blackadderthe4 i'll bet you know the lakenheath and mildenhall afb ? to make a film & photoreport i drove to there in my TIGER camouflaged mercedes 200 diesel and stayed around the base for about a week day and night sleeping in my car.i took pictures from all sides of the afb

including the sr71 pilots briefing shack and in the hangar when they walked out of the blue transport

"or the F-117 was test flying" funny enough I was coming down through the Scottish borders in 1981 and saw a UFO. I couldn't identify it until the First Gulf War it was a F-117, which were kept under raps until then.
