This is the complete movie The Stranger (Straniero, Lo 1967). 11 parts in total make up the full movie. I previously posted the opening scene only and after numerous requests I'm posting the full movie. Straniero, Lo(The Stranger)an Italian movie directed by Luchino Visconti and starring Marcello Mastroianni as Arthur Meursault. This movie is based on Albert Camus' Nobel Prize winning masterpiece The Stranger. This is my favorite book of all time and the movie stays true to the novel. Enjoy guys. From one Camus lover to another.

  • Nobody matters, really, but especially not your god. Or how I chose to exist, or thought I did. The others will also face this fate, as will you, don't you understand? ---What does it really matter if she is kissing another man today?

  • Whenever I feel like shit, I come and watch a scene from this movie, and it reminds why I feel different from so many around me.

  • I DON'T WANT YOU TO PRAY FOR ME! You're so certain about everything. Not one of your certainties is worth a single strand of a woman's hair. You're not even sure if you're alive because you act like a dead man. And I...it looks like I have nothing, but I am sure of what I am. Sure of everything. Sure of my life. And now, even my death. I only now that, but I am sure that it is the truth for me. My mother doesn't matter.

  • This one of the rarest Viscontis I've ever seen... A million thanks to the STRANGER who posted it!!!
