@zeppelinn he was sure enought a different man at Knebworth. it was a real lesson to see a human with newly aquired grace&humility (-hope i spell'd that right.) that smile on his face after last bridge of 'stairway .... and the way he talked abt 'in throught the out door'.. being discover'd in a cave. i'd never seen him act&speak in that manner before. i'm no homo but damn he was beautifull. he&Jimmy were different after '77. ie last 2minute's of 'trampled ... 1stnite. wow.

@zeppelinn i was at seattle after seeing the lad's in 69,73&75. you've spoken gospel as that was a horrible nite.. since i've been on youtube,i've been pleasantly surprised that the gig was unique. when i discuss the band in '77,i talk abt the show's that you speak-of in yr thread.

@zeppelinn agreed. LA Forum and MSG were great in 77. And Cleveland, aka Destroyer.

@zeppelinn I dont like 77 for multiple reasons, plants voice was never truely amazing as it was before, although it wasnt bad, and page was quite sloppy, and not his normal amazing to listen to sloppy. Its not that Zeppelin sucked in 77 its that they were no where near as amazing as they were before or after.

@sharrer2 Don't judge this year by the Seattle show. Try 23/6/77, 21/6/77 and 25/677 from LA. Or MSG shows. They are all great.

@livezeppelin Yes, he did it in MSG (can't remember the exact date.. 8th june?). It was an attempt though. IMO.. Plant's voice changed very much after the death of his son. You can hear it. It's very significant change after 1977 tour. His voice changed its color.

for all you 77 haters of plants voice. I can't remember right now as I am running out, but during Over The HIlls and far away plant sang the high part live. usually even in the early 70s he wouldnt sing high like the album, but one show in 77 he did. maybe you guys were watching the seattle show where yes his voice is shot, i belive he was sick

if plant did not keep singing after zeppelin and just stayed with swan song when zeppelin reunited they would be just as good as they were at least at the begining of 75
