National Guard Biathlon Shines in Montana

The National Guard's West Regional Biathlon Championship had the most competitors in its five year history. High caliber athletes from the U.S. and Canada raced alongside National guard Soldiers and Airmen in West Yellowstone, Mt., as part of this event.

hi, is there anywhere near kalispell where the youth can get involved in biathlon?

i just had a daughter and would like to learn a little about it. her grandfather was a champion in slovakia. our family was bred to ski and shoot. should make for a good candidate. who knows.

i guess if i can't find a program or club, i'll just teach her telemark with a sauer and elk.

I have competed in this course for summer biathlon. I actually met some of the National Guard folks this year (summer 2010). I love SW Montana, love Bozeman and love West.

I can't wait to ski this course for the first time one of these winters
