David spade didn't make video, dtv did so why is spade getting in trouble?

No. It is disrespectful. Why would David Spade agree to this? Chris was his best friend. You don't honor some one by making money off them. Then again I enjoy the commercail because it's chris farley, but it's still disrespectful.

You don't have to re-invent and re-shoot scenes from a good movie if you are going to use footage from it.
There is nothing wrong with showing good scenes from Tommy Boy, or even having spliced footage with David Spade talking about Direct TV, the thing that is immoral is him talking like CHRIS is IN THE ROOM like he's still alive and supporting the company.

I know that apparently none of you care, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that they are using a dead guy to sell their product.

If you want to get mad at someone for profiteering off of Chris Farley's image, then get mad at these guys.
