New research underway at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine - through the Children's Discovery Institute - is bringing scientists closer to understanding how pediatric brain tumors develop and how to treat them. A new data bank examining tumor specimens in mice has made that possible. Dr. Josh Rubin, co-director of the pediatric brain tumor program, explains why this is such a significant step in brain tumor research.
