Must be nice to drive a ´94-car with TC...
-
@xeenoon NO, B196 was the first benetton to introduce the cockpit side protections, that is a B194 because has not the renault engine v10 from 1995, I mean it's not the B195 either
-
@zumbadorrallys noo that´s the B196
-
Little piece of information about the engines: Most teams use 4-litre Judd V10's rather than original (and expensive) Formula One engines
-
@ReLax232 you better check f1 history....
-
@zumbadorrallys They were introduced in 1994... after Wendlingers Crash in Monaco
-
that's the B193
-
@ReLax232 where are the cockpit side protections? they were introduced in 1996, so.... you' re totally wrong
-
@matts62yt This is clearly a 1996 or 1997 Benetton.
The B194 had acompletly other monocoque design... Rear-Wing Desighn, other Front-Wing.
That's correct, but this had the original Cossie in it.
It is definitely a B194 but dressed-up to look more like the B195.

You had a bit of a lock-up going into that hair-pin; I'm guessing you had a higher ratio of front brake-bias.

Yea, definitely more front than rear, that's the way it should be. With no downforce when you are doing less than 50mph, the brakes lock up very quickly. The really good F1 drivers stamp on the pedal and straight away slowly come off the brake pedal as the grip is reducing all the time the car is slowing. Tricky stuff!!

@matts62yt I have always tried to use the brakes as little as possible and carry as much speed as I can into the corners. I trailbrake when I attack into a tight corner.
The Euro Boss series seems very interesting, are you driving a de-tuned or specifically governed engine (Are revs held to a certain limit?) or is this a pure '94 Benetton?

@vir123456
You have that correct my friend. Fast driving is all about entry speed. Anyone (kind of) can come out of a corner quickly.....though maybe not in an F1 car.
Very slightly rev restricted. I think this went to 13k rpm, whereas when Schumacher drove it the rev limit was nearer 14k rpm.
