2009 KOH Shannon Campbell drives over 52x Will Carter

This was one of the most agressive passes I saw at the 2009 KOH event in Johnson Valley. Shannon Campbell drove right over the wheels of 52x driver Will Carter after Carter put his rig on its side. No one was going to stop Shannon from getting through this obstical on Sledgehammer!!! Kind of interesting to note that Shannon had more issues on this obstical with his IFS rig than the rig after him that walked right up it!!

ive known shannon since high school,when he built his very first jeep(pink) but he called it corral,and yes he is a bad ass driver.

i've seen shannon campbell race twice at w.e rock. dude is the best off road driver i have ever seen. i have talked to him during his down time at the comp he is not a ass hole. this is just compitition thats it you gotta do what ya gotta do.

so did the guy behind shannon get DQ'd too? because he rammed will too. and as far as i know, shannon campbell is a GREAT competitor, and i think he deserves more credit than you guys are giving him...

It is a timed race ! do you guys not get that ? Every one there in sledgehammer thought it was bad ass! Try watching another vid you might get educated . Will Carter looked very strong!

Yes. I totally agree. Several people continued to race after they were DQ'd or late to checkpoints. They all should have been sent back to camp. There was enough chaos and traffic without all the DQers

He was DQ'd and got yelled at by the race organizers.

I've done some asshole stuff in the heat of competition before so I can understand how an otherwise nice guy loses his mind in the heat of competition. Having said that, it was a move that an asshole would make. He *had* to know that he was ramming him and that he left rear was hung up on WIll but he kept doing it.

asshole is a little harsh. it was definitely a dick move on his part. should have relaxed and let the competitors who are still in the race a chance before himself. dick move.
