  • Catches uploaded are all before the flood in January.

    Now, with lots of fresh water flashed into Brisbane River, I also catch only cat fish.

    Even, all babies now.

    I fish from mangrove areas of QUT and City Botanical Garden.

    And use pilchard small strip as bait.

    I think now we need to wait for a while for the water to become more salty and clearer.

  • it's not a threadfin, its a puttynose perch.put it on for live bait,they are good for jew.

  • Hey mate. That fish your unsure of is a young threadfin salmon im fairly certain. Therye a great fighter as they get larger. Good fish too, well done.

  • @MELISSA1ya1mumm i dont recognise the fishing spot but the bbq place at the front, the bridge you see in the background is the eleanor schonell bridge im pretty sure. It goes from dutton park over the the UQ campus at st. lucia
