Why do parents suddenly care about the cookie monster being the veggie monster, i was raised on the cookie monster and i turned out cookie!

There never was or has been a veggie monster, the cookie monster has always spoken of the importance of eating vegetables while still occasionally going on a cookie rampage. You are one of the many people who were deceived into believing this travesty. I too thought this was the end of the cookie monster, but photos of our favorite muppet in a shade of green are not real, they are Photoshopped. The wonderful character is still around, and fighting... for his cookies. Thank You.
