See this orchestra doesn't play arrangements they play the real thing. This music was made for people that had been playing for years on end and look at them!

This is why we shouldn't cut music from our school's budgets :P

@spazmodic23 exactly. my school cut band for my 8th grade year (this year) and I was so depressed. Without my dedicated band director, I wouldn't play bassoon, because she was the one who supplied my with an old school bassoon to teach myself over the summer of 5th grade with! I wouldn't play any other instruments either with out the help of my 3 band directors. I agree. Just because someone on our school board abused their powers, and our money, we, the students, should't have to suffer.

@SupahflyJazzguy Maybe you should come to Northern Virginia and see why NoVa is the epicenter of the best bands in the COUNTRY particularly Lake Braddock, Robinson and Woodson

It's bands like these that make it difficult to play in the State of Indiana.
Carmel, Ben Davis, Lawrence Central, Avon, Center Grove.
Seriously, there's your BOA Grand Nats roster right there, minus L.D. Bell and Broken Arrow. (Then wildcards. :P)

I played this piece last year in my high school chamber orchestra, and it was an incredible way to close my high school career. Love this piece sooooo much!

Carmel High School... This is the same school with that amazing marching band that does BOA grand nationals every year right? Did 'Suspended Symbols' (cymbals?) a few years back? Anyone know?

Yes, this is the same high school. The Carmel band won BOA on '05.
