  • This first, self-titled E.P was never equaled. Thanks for posting this gem!

  • A BIG salute to you, banglesvevo, for bringing this video to us! I've never seen this before, and it's a treat! Truly a talented & energetic band, which had wonderful vocals and skilled playing right from the start.

  • No prizes for guessing who Susanna Hoffs is imitating with the excessive head shaking here. Still a great record though.

  • Love the head wiggling. Classic!

  • Never heard the Bangles (that I know of) outside of "Walk Like an Egyptian" which I remember hearing a lot as a kid (I was born in 1985.) I remember everyone making fun of me for loving that song but how could I not? Especially as a kid..

Anyway, I never looked into the Bangles music library, nor do I know of ANYONE who has EVER mentioned them. I mean anyone, older friends, family, internet websites, etc.

This song is my first non-Walk Like..... taste and.. holy shit is it awesome!

  • this is what the carrie nations should have sounded like...

  • @rocknrollphilip So, so true. What an overlooked classic that album is.

  • Anyone who digs the early Bang(le)s has to check out the alternate video to TRW posted by darkman7314...it's good stuff!

    Dave.

  • perfect...all 4 beatles are cute gals...what more could a guy want ?

  • One of my fave Bangles songs! Thanks for posting! :)

  • @mythme01 - Yes, the set and in particular the video quality were intended to look retro - since it was 1982 I imagine they used older cameras rather than an effect....
