I'm going to try this even though I'm not sure it would work on my 4c hair. My hair is very tightly curled.

How do you refresh it the next day?

Nice video, your hair turned out great! I went to your website, do you still blog on there? just curious??

@aJwitaFrO Thanks. I think my curl pattern is tooo tight! I have done two applications of Henna with no noticeable difference in my curl pattern. I also think I just need to get some more length. I think my hair is about as long, if not longer, than your hair is this video, but it just doesn't fall and hang like I want it to. I will keep at it, thanks for the help.

ok I have 2 questions...1)at the end up that day did the gel make ur hair feel dry or have any film/build-up? & 2)how long did it take ur to style ur hair that way?I've REALLY REALLY been wantin to do this style, but I think it would take tooo long lol

@ibogirl04 but ya, twistouts aren't the funnest but try new things on small sections of your hair and with time you might find something that works. Also, using bentonite clay and henna can help to "loosen"/ define your curls more naturally so I would look into that as well. I use henna pretty regularly.
what happened between this video and the coil out video. You mentioned in the coil out video that your hair doesn't curl when applying gel but it looks gorgeous here. What did you do to get your curls to pop in?

@naomig1117 My hair is kind of longer here... if I remember correctly this was after I started using henna which has defined my curls a lot more than before. I want to stop using it though because it actually kind of loosens my curls at the back so they hang lower than the rest of my hair.

@naomig1117 But I heard that bentonite clay also helps with curl defining without loosening your curls so if you are interested in something that can help you with that maybe give it a try.
