Hello Imperials, and all others who in Cyrodiil do dwell! This is my TES IV: Oblivion series, with totally decked-out extreme graphics. I am using many enhancement mods, including RAEVWD, Qarl's Texture Pack 3, DarNified UI and Oblivion Graphics Extender v2 with SSAO and God Rays. I also upload all of my game footage in dazzling 1080p HD, so try watching these in the highest definition that you possibly can!

Watch the highlights of my first romp through the plane of Oblivion, entering through the Kvatch gate. Also, I do a commentary regarding new TES V: Skyrim info! I talk about new revelations that came with the Mature rating that Skyrim received... the rating mentions drinking contests, decapitations, horrific murders of bound/gagged prisoners, and more. I also talk about the new race abilities for each of the 10 playable races, and I cover the known perks for the one-handed and two-handed skills.

hey culvey! I'm sort of new to the whole oblivion/skyrim series. I'm wondering if I should pick up oblivion or wait for skyrim. I'm a pretty quick RPG learner and oblivion GOTY is pretty cheap on Steam.

@TheLogicman1 well, if you can afford both, buy & play Oblivion to get yourself familiar with the Elder Scrolls and its vast lore. It's a huge world. If you are on a tight budget, just wait for Skyrim & watch my Oblivion vids. :)

The Inn drinking and brawling contests are totally pinched from The Witcher! Between that and all the Oblivion mods that have found themselves as features in Skyrim, I wouldn't say the game is going to be very innovative, but rather a collection of idea's from third parties that have been in other games/mods since Oblivion came out.

It's interesting to see the differences between your level 7 character and mine in this section.  I went in as a level 4 and never saw any of those Clannfear creatures, just the scamps and daedra. I missed out on the enchanted weapon at the end because I grabbed the sigil first. Lesson learned.

@TheLogicman1 might as well just wait for skyrim man, otherwise you will still be playing oblivion maybe 1/4 of the way through depending on how much time you invest in it, and if you decide to just do the main story line, without exploring at all, and not wanting just to rush through, seeing as there is a lot of content in this game which would ruin your experience imo, but its up to you,
