My 2010 Silverado Crew Cab 0-100 run (actually like 98 or 99 because of the governor). It has the 6.2 with 3.42 rear end and is four wheel drive.

my stock 5.4 fx2 f150 ran o-60 5.6 to 5.8 sec. and that 6.2 which is supposedly a fast truck did 0-60 in 7 seconds. thats shitty and slow as hell

@ssj02 Im pretty sure they both have the 6L80; but i may be wrong. Thats strange they're having problems with them though. Im thinking due to the crazy driving and the higher ambient air temps, the 5.3 guys are cooking their trannies. All 6.2 trucks come with a HD engine radiator and tranny cooler. The 5.3 trucks on the other hand will only have the bigger transmission coolers if they're ordered with the towing package.

@mike4x4chevy48 Are you sure on the 5.3L and 6.2L? am saying this coz here in Saudi Arabia high temperatures and people are damn crazy driving their trucks flat out on sand dunes which kills the gearbox. A lot of 5.3L trucks end up in workshops while the 6.2L are running like a rock....so I guess they come with different transmission. Maybe 6L65e of the 5.3?
