This is ridiculous. Chiang isn't even mentioned in this scene or, as far as I remember, anywhere in this whole movie. To depict Mao, rightfully, as a cynical, twisted old emperor who didn't care how much misery he inflicted on the world, does not somehow exonerate or lift up Chiang. You've got your knickers in a twist for no reason.

This is a powerful scene, I like specially when Mao says "the real war is in us, history is a sympthom of our desease"...whatever he really said this or not it is a very powerful truth
