Here's a great pickin' tune from these two masters that you just can't find on any of Chet's albums. And ESPECIALLY the ones that the "nice folks" at RCA and thereabouts are so "generous" to release to the public. (Hint folks, you can almost count Chet's officialy released albums on the fingers of one hand.) Which is precisely why I decided to take matters into my own hands.
And by the way, if you are one of these fat cat execs who is sitting on these Chet albums which deserve to be released on CD, I think you need to get your head out of your fat ass and realize that people still love Chet, even if you guys in "New Yawk" can't tell a guitar from a freakin' hole in the ground. Sit a spell. Take yer shoes off. Y'all come back now, hear?

This was done on a duet album with Snow, so you might be able to find it under his name as opposed to Chet's.

There are not enough Chet Atkins re-releases and compilations, you are right there daffydoug.
And then we, the consumers are marked as criminals if we put things in the public sphere of the internet for people just to actually learn about e.g. old Chet Atkins songs.

The part at 1:23 is the work of a pure genious. Notice how he emphasizes the melody notes and mutes the bass and all in between picks flawless arpeggios with some other fingers, and then uses his pinky to use the bigsby. Unbelievable. How did he do it? I will never know.
