"If abortion is about women's rights, then what were my rights?" Gianna Jessen, asked a packed meeting of MPs and the public on the evening of Tuesday 6th December 2005.
Ms Jessen was aborted via saline solution injection at seven and a half months gestation. Having swallowed some of the poisonous liquid during the procedure she contracted cerebral palsy: a disability she has to this day. She is to run the London Marathon this April to raise money for others who suffer from the condition.
@3espBsisters Yea, which is provided by the mother whom has the right over her body and whom also has the right to do anything she wants to her body.

Yes but it's also not just about that. If people want to say that the fetus is a person, then they are also forgetting that the woman is as well. We can't forget her rights and respect either, and if those who want to say that she shouldn't have anabortion, they should mind their own business and stop trying to control other people's lives.

@swirlgirl1 The baby is a baby. Do you think that when a baby is accidentally born during an abortion they should be killed? Health is rarely the case for abortion.

I love my mom, and my sister. I even go to my mom for advice now, because it's like she knows how to be a mom. God used the good times and the bad times to teach her how to be a mom, and she knows. Put it this way, our relationship has been completely restored, and I think she sees this baby as having a second chance for her. I'm just very thankful. Before she admitted about the abortion, our relationship seemed empty, Now, it's healed a lot.

My sister also had an abortion. This baby that I have now is going to be the first, first born baby in my immediate biological family who is not going to be aborted. My husband and I are both against abortion, and I think this gives my mom and my sister so much because in Christ, this means that the chains of abortion are broken, completely in my family, and I think now I've developed this passion to totally break those chains, and I pray that I can pass that on to my little girl. Thank you!

Read from the bottom up. My mom had an abortion 5 years before I was born, so I have an older sibling who is in the arms of Jesus, and I will meet him/her one day, but she used alcohol, drugs and men to hide that pain, and she placed that pain on my sister and I, even though she did not know it. Later when she was towards the end of her rope, and she began to give her life to God, she admitted the pain and the regret to me. Now my mom and I have a great relationship. Thank you Jesus!

I'm talking to those who are thinking about having an abortion, and with compassion to those who have had one. You miss out on a lot when you have an abortion.....on a lot truly wonderful things too. Many people have had abortions in my immediate family, and I love those people, but I've seen first hand the pain that they have had to suffer after abortion. Even though I have a loving family, I grew up with that pain too. It's something I don't want other people to have to face.

When you feel the baby kick or move or see the sonograms, you know you have a life inside of you, and you know that this baby is someone who's different from you, even though she is inside of you. And you know what, as a mother you are the first person that that baby can build a bond with. I've gotten to know my little girl more then anyone else has at this moment. She's sweet, she responds to voices outside the womb now. We saw that in the sono, she responds by sticking out her tongue. Lol!

In other words they would save their babies life before their own life. Sorry, I'm not good at saying things the right way. Some of you probably knew what I was trying to say....Lol! There is no other way to put it. As a woman when you first find out that you are pregnant, you realize that you all of the sudden have a responsibility, and that another life is fully dependant on you. As you go through the 9 months (I'm 24 weeks) the bond you build as a mother is unmistakable. It's amazing.
