@Miano I completely agree I know it would be extremely difficult not to want to personally go murder the woman myself but honestly I hope they realize that another person's death isn't going to stop their own pain, it's only going to cause more. This woman has a daughter too who doesn't deserve this crap either. Also the death penalty isn't really revenge because the woman might feel pain for a few minutes but then she'll be out of her misery too so it's not even, but it never will be.

@periwinklemooose Forgiveness is very difficult to do when you're having to bury your own child and plan an entire funeral. You can say this now, but how would you feel if you had to bury your own murdered child?

We're all human here and we're not perfect. To wish for a person's death for killing a person dear to you is only natural. If this did happen to you...can you be 100% sure that you wouldn't be pushing for the death penalty yourself? God had also forgiven Moses for murder.

your anger is completely understandable, but that's exactly it: WHY would you kill your daughter's best friend? she's messed up, and the psychological aspect isn't NECESSARILY her fault. I completely understand what you're saying, but I think it's a bit hypocritical for Sandra's family to say they are total Christians yet they are pushing for the death penalty for the accused killer.
