    what the hell is a "vent?" do you mean "vamp?" because that's really a kaholo. and counting in samoan?????

  • Wow... I think that's all that needs to be said.. wow... is this what happens when hula goes outside of Hawai'i? A kaholo becomes a "vent" or a "vamp" and people start counting in Samoan instead of Hawaiian?

  • Interesting. I was taught that "vamp" is a musical term even though it is sometimes used as a dance term.

    `ekahi, `elua, `ekolu, `eha = 1, 2, 3, 4, in Hawaiian.
