I have something to say: The Sims™ was my FIRST video game I ever played. Years after years of playing, I never grown tired of it.

sims2 exspansion packs and some of its interactions with the sims 3 gaphics and easy access to the neighborhood would b a great game!!!

@Wotenkeld trust me, it's all accourding to plan.
agree with me that there is no reason for the sims 3 creators to simply "forget" all these fatures.
I bet they're planning the right expansion packs for the game. you just need to patient and wait.
and another thing - you shouldn't be so negative friend! not everybody has The Sims (any of them) and they would die to have one. you need to be happy with what you own and can afford.
P.S-you "buy"new clothes in the sims 3 by going to the closet

yea. the sims looked prettier in sims 2 lol

@2good4utyra i think i prefer sims 1 expansions, sims 2 gameplay and graphics and sims 3 free neighborhoods and customization
Thumb this comment up if you have ever locked your sim in a little box and watch it die of hunger.

Will Wright is a genius. All the credit should go to him and Maxis, not all to EA.
The Sims1 was the best of all the games.
The Sims2 seemed more geared towards women. The clothing was feminine, men's clothing was too "summer" and metrosexual (flip-flops and polos) and the music was too pop-influenced. It was also too cartoonish.
The Sims3, although nice in appearance, was lacking details, such as viewing your sim inside the diner or the office. There were no ways to purchase new clothing.
