Please donate food and/or funds to: http://www.licares.org This concert was set up as a benefit for Long Island Cares/Harry Chapin Food Bank. The songs belong to Harry Chapin, and are used here in the spirit of sharing and promoting the cause. This is a fan video. Not all the bands from the event appear (I am only one person! Only a handheld camera, plus, I had to dance some of the time!) The bands in the video are: "Cat's in the Cradle" performed by Gathering Time; "I Wonder What Would Happen" by Judith Zweiman and an ensemble; "Shooting Star" by Spoon Walk (with Howard Fields on drums); "Mr. Tanner" by Robin Eve, with Frank Walker, Paul Silverman on piano, Mike Leuci on bass, and Howard Fields on drums; "Dance Band on the Titanic" by Sonny Meadows, the Defribillators, and Tornado Alley combined!; "The Rock" by Media Crime; "Story of a Life" by Josh Joffen with poetry intro by J. Barrett Wolf; "Remember When The Music" by Lucky 13; "I Want To Learn A Love Song" by Lisa Itts; "Taxi" by Doc Butler & JC Cobb and friends; and "Circle Song" by everyone. Howard Fields, Harry Chapin's friend and drummer, plays on some of the songs. The event was hosted by Stuart Markus. Video by Kimberly Wilder of http://www.onthewilderside.com. Thanks to Ian Wilder for inspiration and technical support. LOOK! Over at Spoon Walk, they are posting some of the songs in full: http://www.youtube.com/user/spoonwalk

  • Hey, how fun is this! Thanks for making this video and for including me in it! Blessings, Judith Zweiman

  • Thanks, Judith.

    Yeah, you were awesome.

I had the schedule and knew you--whose work I love--was going to sing "Wonder"--which song I love. So, I had the whole plan down to catch some on video, then throw the camera down, run to the side and dance in the grass! Great, great performance. Full of life and energy!

  • This is awesome!!! Thanks so much for making this video! Do you have the full songs as well? Sincerely-Frank Walker

  • sorry. no full songs. what is up is most of what I have of everything. It represents every song I have any piece of. And, most of what footage I have from each song. Glad that you guys were ambitious and did whole songs on tripods. (p.s. great show!)
