someone told me the HD-1 from roland would not work trough midi with the drumkit delivered with the game. so after finishing building my new HD-1, i hooked up the midi cable and tried it out in the studio mode. here you can see the result, truely working like a charm.

  • so uh if I want this to work for pc using my HD-1, do I use a Midi to USB cable?

  • @HomasterX Depending on if your pc had a Midi socket or not, yes. But you connect the HD-1 (or other Midi electronic drumkit) to the game drumkit, and that game drumkit must connect to the game, as you need to be able to controll the game interface. I know PC games can also be controlled by mouse and keyboard, but the game must think it has the drum controller, so that's why you need the gaming drumkit.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards, Ronald.

  • At 1:58..... "The two rectums are used" ?!?

  • @MonsieurMammouth Rack Toms. I do not know the proper english word for the stand all the drums are mounted to :-D LOL.

  • @musicmaniac1965 Haha, I was just kidding, my friend ! Your English accent is a lot better than mine anyway !

About the toms, I don't know the right term either... Wiki says it's "tom-tom", but it sounds quite stupid... :D

  • @MonsieurMammouth Tom Tom? I thought that was a navigation thing for the car? LOL. But the tom names are high tom, mid tom, and low tom. I ment the stand they where mounted on :-D

Thanks for visiting. Kind regards, Ronald.

    Vriendelijke groeten, Ronald.

  • @TheCat672 Hello. To change the sensetivity on the HD-1 just keep pressing the "variation" button. Then, while still holding that button pressed, you will see one of the 5 drumkit numbers flashing. Default is number 3. Just put it to 1, or 2 for less sensetive, or 4, or 5 for more sensetivity.

If you play this game on a wii console, there's something else you need to do, but i don't know what, as i don't have the wii version.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards, Ronald.
