AN ANSWER to the 700 Million Dollar Bailout B.S.

Yes, call your congressmen: www.house.gov or www.senate.gov (to find your rep). But, whether or not they vote for this nonsense, WE NEED TO START CREATING OUR OWN LOCAL CURRENCIES like the Ithaca Hour (www.ithacahours.com) or the Liberty Dollar (www.libertydollar.org) or something of the like.

We have to stop going along with this broken system and we have to stop relying on Congress. Henry Paulson and Bernanke are idiots. They would tell a heroin addict to take MORE heroin to solve the problem. They are traitors.

Yeah I heard the national debt was 57 trillion. Clinton lied about the national debt and claimed a surplus when he was President....same crap different anus. Yeah, liberty dollar got raided. It's really messed up because they were NOT counterfeit. They even made that crystal clear. It was a BARTERING CURRENCY totally different than the U.S. dollar and was raided anyway proving that the Fed is a criminal banking cartel. Thanks for the comment. It's just another example of OVERSPECIALIZATION in this country. Buckminster Fuller used to warn folks about this. Too many people/companies trying to earn a living selling ONE thing or producing ONE thing and skilled in ONE thing and not paying attention to the world around them and realizing as you pointed out we don't have the water, resources, infrastructure,etc. It's sad how many people don't realize how appaling this bailout is.

Today, the house voted DOWN the bill to steal 700 billion dollars from working people for 7- 8- and 9-figure executives. They succeeded in doing this once (S&L debacle), for now he's not "fooled us twice".

It's been a long time since I felt any feeling of pride about ANYTHING that has gone on in the legislature, but for the moment I'm filled with hope.

I know, there's a little voice: "they will disappoint, they ALWAYS do" but for now, I will enjoy this forgotten feeling toward the house.
