@hihitv he wanted to show the torque in the lower rpm region and 6-th gear. it would jutst not make sense for him to shift down. also he has many other videos, where he uses other gears.

point at which the 2.0 mazda begines to accelerate the best is between 3500 and 4000rpm. peak hp and torque is at 7200 rpm.are very high reving race engines. auto testers don't know how to shift these babies. rev it up to 6500 rpm and you will see what I mean. My 2011 stock mx5 is almost as fast as my 68 mustangwith 410 bhp forced air induction.0-60 is close! Don't underestimate the mx5 It has to rev high to zoom! mx5 It outhandles my mini cooperS is faster 2 The Mini repl tires 10K junky car!
