Kimbo Slice and Gina Carano Elite XC Heat Mixed Martial Arts Update With Liesel Hlista From Gamblers Television

Hello MMA fans this is Liesel Hlista here with some news from Elite XC. Elite XC returns to CBS on Saturday October 4th as Kimbo Slice faces Ken Shamrock in the Main Event.
Hold on now the Ladies are first.
On the Heat under card Gina Conviction Carano returns to the promotion as she fights Kelly Blood Red Kobald. Carano has a professional record of 6 wins with 0 losses and is coming off a victory over Kaitlin Young by doctor stoppage at Elite XC Primetime back on May 31st on CBS. The 26-year-old fighter has been fighting professionally since June of 2006 and has 3 wins by knockout. Carano specializes in Muay Thai and is currently being trained by Randy Couture of Xtreme Couture to improve her ground game and defense. Carano also can be seen on NBCs American Gladiators as Crush.
Kelly Kobald sports a professional MMA record of 16 wins with 2 defeats. Kobald has been fighting professionally since July of 2002 and is on a 2 fight-losing streak. 8 of her 16 wins have come by submission.
Now over to the Mens side.
Kimbo Slice during his Elite XCs teleconference to promote his upcoming fight against Ken Shamrock vowed that he would break the leg of the Worlds Most Dangerous Man. Kimbo Slice told reporters that he will not take Ken Shamrock lightly despite is recent string of defeats. Kimbos opponent Ken Shamrock showed very little respect for Slices game and told reporters during the teleconference that Kimbo Slice would fall over from exhaustion in just a few minutes against The Worlds Most Dangerous Man in the cage.
The early money has moved slightly on the underdog. Ken Shamrock has moved from a plus 300 underdog to currently plus 250. And that had the favorite Kimbo Slice dropping from the minus 500 favorite to minus 400. That will do it for now.
