Parents weekend in Spring 1962 or 1963. The Vietnam war generation of North Georgia College Corps of Cadets marches in review. This 8mm film taken from the second floor of Barnes Hall.
The later classes of NGC were the ones that really caught it. I graduated in 66. As I was a freshman starting 62 we saw them go. The Srs, Jrs, Sophs, were among the first in. As I was a Senior, the freshmen, Sophs, and Jrs were still going plus my class. The class of '68' had it the worse, 10% of that commission class were killed in Vietnam. The thing about it was, we believed in what we were doing and still believe we were right. I know of none who wouldn't do it again.
