Mi risulta che le BJ tribute romane siano altre due: Backfire e Jersey Cowboys.

Ho sentito parlare anche dei ragazzi a cui tu accenni, ma mi pareva che suonassero alcuni pezzi dei Bon Jovi, all'interno di una scaletta non dedicata a quel gruppo. Come giustamente dici, loro sono una cover band, noi una tribute band.

Nessun dubbio invece sulla loro bravura, anche se non li ho mai sentiti suonare.

@lospepons ... però, secondo me, sconvolgere un pezzo come dry county è un suicidio. prima di tutto perchè essendo una tribute, di base, può sembrare un controsenso, secondo perchè se proprio lo si vuole fare, si deve cercare un senso forte che qui, almeno a parer mio, non credo ci sia. non credo abbiate bisogno di mostrare virtuosismi gratuiti nei soli...

ragazzi, mi permetto di commentare, sperando di potervi essere d'aiuto nel riconsiderare alcuni aspetti del significato di tribute band (vi parlo da cantante di una tribute bonjoviana). I mezzi li avete tutti, a livello tecnico, di conoscenza e passione per i bon jovi, a livello estetico e vocale del frontman, ecc...

Man... this is the kind of guitar solo that is worth trying to do it as same as posible as the original, at least in a TRIBUTE band... you'll learn some things about Richie... Anyway, your job is good enough for a cover.

@hamster1980 completely agree. killed this. and not in a good way. it's dry county, play the right fucking solo. terrible, can't call themselves a tribute band. to be honest you must look at your life when you're 40+ and you're still walking in the huge shadow of a band who are touring the world whilst you're getting paid next to nothing to pretend to be them. I am disappointed.

I must have totally missed the keyboard solo on the jovi, live and album versions... nope- wait... they aren't there. If you are a tribute band, play the song - if you are a covers band then put your own spin on it.

To be honest this reeks of lazy musicianship - your keys player can play a solo he's come up with, but can't be bothered to do justice to David Bryan's amazing live intros or even do the simple things like playing the right notes during the twinning with the guitar pre second solo.
