  • So here's a question. Comparing Sun valley & Snowbasin (also a sun valley owned resort). Which one is better?

  • @JLDG4 I'm not really sure. Is snow basin teh smaller resort just near by? If so, we didn't go there. We stayed at Sun Valley the whole time, it was very good!!!!

  • @lewy88utube Yeah, snowbasin is in utah near powder mountain. I get a season pass there every year. I completely LOVE the resort, and i heard that Sun valley was really good also. I was just wondering if sun valley's lodges were as nice as snowbasin's. (Like 4 star restaurant nice haha)

  • @JLDG4 We stayed at dubdubdubpennays-sunvalleydotcom

It is a two minute walk from the first lift! There is an awesome pub with very nice food just near by. Otherwise you can go into town, there are a number of restaurants there!

  • so how much pow you guys get out there

  • @unstablebutterfly Not a whole lot. It didn't snow until the end of our trip, so we got a couple of fresh days!

  • @unstablebutterfly the last two years have not been great for powder but this year we already have all of the bowls open full of fresh pow pow! We have been getting 10 inches of snow the last two weeks every night.

  • @JLDG4 Also their runs have a good balance of moguls, powder, and piste. We have a new gondola and little wait time for all lifts. Probably the longest wait I have ever had to go through was a minute and that was on Christmas, their busiest day of the year. You can expect no wait time or 5 seconds of wait time on all lifts. Check out their website if you are ever interested in going to Sun Valley at w w w . sun valley . c o m (no spaces

  • @JLDG4 I go up there every winter spring and summer and they have three great lodges that have amazing food. If you are on a budget though you can go to lookout lodge to get a hotdog. Then there is Seattle Ridge, Warm Springs, And River Run lodges that all have amazing food and each one has some different foods from eachother. Like Seattle Ridge has really good chile and River Run has really god stir fry instead. Your choice!
