Kimono Kim is a 6' 7" woman Walkabout who is available to distribute your recycling message at fetes, festivals, events and exhibitions.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is the theme of this project. Kimono Kim is the character we created for our recycling project. Kimono Kim's costume is made from used recycling orange bags distributed to households in Newham, blue bags that we see floating around our streets and green areas given to buyers by shops and markets stall holders and the white bag, that makes up most of Kimono Kim's costume, is a construction site bag that was delivered to local builders filled with sand. The bubble wrap is from the Olympic site, generously donated by the workers and the newspapers and magazines are from regional press.
