@answers4rabbis I am a Gentile who has always wondered why Gentile followers of Jesus are not more connected to what He practiced and His Jewish heritage. I am so thankful to hear about modern day Jews who know Yeshua. What you are to your Jewish family, I feel I am to my Christian family. Sadly, many Christians don't see the significance of the Torah, but they must if they are to ever see the fullness of God's glory. May the Lord always be with you!

@burksIam I am a Gentile believer that follows the Torah and observes it as the 'Oracles of God'. I encourage every believer in Yeshua to do that same. After all, He was the perfect embodiment of the Torah.

@Youngmin03 Messianic Judaism is exactly the same as Conservative Judaism except we except Yeshua of Nazareth as the Messiah and we believe He will return again to restore the Kingdom of Israel, peace, and the Temple. Also, as every Synagogue varies on their adherence to Rabbinical literature (Talmud and Mishnah), every Messianic congregation varies. Some lean more toward just scripture (Torah) w/o holding Rabbinic commentary on an equal footing as scripture. At it's core...it's Jewish.

To Mr. Roth. It has NOT raged between Jews for 2000 yrs. Your LIFE does NOT hang in the balance. For the Messianic Jews would not be here today if it were not for orthodox LINEAGE. And NOWHERE IN THE tORAH OR TANACH does it state that when the Messiah comes he must be accepted, JESUS OR OTHERWISE.JUDAISM is not required to replace THE LAW (ETERNAL) WITH THE MESSIAH as the centre point of the faith. RUBBISH. Im sorry but these claims have the biggest impact on the Torah ignorant & the emmotional.

@burksIam I think it goes back to the old testament. being that all things spoken by God were pointed at the jews and for them only. gentiles could convert but unless your wife was jewish you could not carry on the seed. it was not until Jesus or the Messiah had come and died on the cross were the gentiles given the same hope and promise. he even said first the Jew then the gentile but I'm no bible scholar.

@Youngmin03 RABBI.....YOU SAID THAT IF YOU FIND ONE VERSE THAT CONTRADICTS THE TORAH THAN YOU WOULD REJECT THE TORAH......I HAVE FOUND THAT VERSE....The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet." (Psalm 110:1)......THIS PROVES THAT GOD HAS A DIVINITY AND THAT JESUS MUST BE THE SON OF GOD WHO IS TALKING TO THE FATHER "the LORD says to my lord" .......WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!!!!!!

@burksIam Isn't it amazing?! Judaism was good enough for Jesus, and if you believe it, good enough for G-d to manifest himself _as a Jew_ and also not annul Torah and say that not one tittle is to be changed.

@burksIam As a Jewish believer in Yeshua, I thank you for your kind words, even though not directed to me. I am glad to call you my friend and sibling in faith. Isn't He wonderful? =)

Jesus pbuh was a prophet and will come back as a follower of the prophet mohammad saw to clear the misconceptions of the christians as they believe in him as God. That is the truth. Concerning jews who know where the truth lies but yet still close they eyes from it. Knowing very well how Allah saved from pharoh and his cruelty but yet instead of thanking the lord Allah they turned they back. So please all of you open your eyes to the truth. 2 RONGS DONT MAKE A RYT argument between the 2
I have a question.
Is recognizing Jesus as the Jewish Messiah different than the Christian belief that Jesus is the savior and the son of God who came to save people from their sins?
I just wanna know the differences between the Messianic Jewish and Christianity.

@Youngmin03 Good question. Fundamentally, the only difference is we are Jewish. But in addition to that, Many of us Messianic Jews feel modern christianity has been gentilized meaning lost its Jewish roots and in addition to the identity of Jesus many of seek to restore the Jewishness of the gospel. We feel that this will also encourage our other Jewish family and friends to consider what has really been Jewish all along...Jesus! Many Gentiles share our sentiments.
