I hadn't heard this in years and found it tonight. I used to play this on my weekend radio show in Lansing, MI. 1968-72 while attending Michigan State. Funny how I couldn't remember the name of this song until I saw it here. Thanks for the posting.
@thepeasantspoet Rock was very regional in the '60's. It was hard for bands from the midwest to be heard in the east and vice versa. It really wasn't until Lenny Kaye's Nuggets that they were merged Enjoy
As a New York Kid of the 60's who would have ever know how many great groups and tunes came out of "The Windy City" Youth is blind you tube is an eye opener.

Nobody of the Cellar times could HIT the opening like the Shames.......Not a garage band like many claim......Great Band and good memories
