@TayThrash077 You may benefit from getting a pre-amp, if you're playing metal anything with the SansAmp brand would do perfectly. They do rack preamps and also a coouple of pedals that are dfinately worth your attention!

This might be a stupid question but can you stick a HEAD on a combo amp?I play metal and have no gain knob on my combo amp.

@TayThrash077 Only if the Combo has a Speaker in/out and you can disconnect the speaker kabel from the Combo Amp
