To be fair, Chinese Communist during that time believed Communism is the best political system for man kind. By assisting North Koreans, they believed they are helping entire Korea, hence, freeing Koreans. Besides, we are Democratic. We are Capitalism=/="Free".

I think one of the challenges in China that was missed is China's super sophisticated hacking. China has now been exposed as the major hacker of government and corporate websites around the whole world. The Chinese play dirty especially when it comes to spying. Fortunately google and other companies are waking up to this. Chinese business is dirty.
