  • Holly crap! I had no idea so many people watched this. I hope it was helpful. I answer legal questions for free nearly every day on Traffic Court Blog. Got a question, post it somewhere. We will try to answer. More videos coming very soon - Thank you for your comments. I do try to provide free help if possible.

  • I have one ticket for 75/60 on Ohio. On the ticket it says "Proof of Insurance shown" the officer marked the box, HE DID NOT ASK FOR PROOF OF INSURANCE, he only asked for my license. What should I do? Does that help my case at all? Please Respond ASAP!

  • @LaZyLuKe25 Its kind of a wacky question. I say that because: You are accused of speeding. Who cares what the officers decided about your insurance? It is not relevant at all to the question of whether or not you were speeding. To beat a speeding ticket, you need to say "I was not speeding!" - stick to that. Focus young jedi.

  • How about a motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, there are no damages.

  • @craterman01999 That theory makes no sense to me. Are you trying to say the courts dont have the power to enforce statutes? I dont get it. Damages are not a required element of anything - except a Negligence Cause of action. Is that what we are talking about? If there is a statute properly enacted - of course the court has the power to enforce it. Do you really want to say the law is illegal because there is no victim? Am I the victim here?

  • by pleading not guilty ur giving the court jurisdiction, under common law they may not charge u an u are not contactable.

  • @TOREN5611 When you get a drivers license, you are consenting to personal jurisdiction. When you drive in a state, you are consenting to personal jurisdiction. You dont know it, but it is true. When you sign a citation, you accept personal service of a summons.
