Britain is the same as every other country....you have your big houses and your small ones your nice homes and your really bad ones. Good areas and bad areas just the same as USA, Canada, Australia and elsewhere in Europe.
Northern Ireland is probably 1 of the only parts of the UK where people seem to have alot of big houses and space around their homes. There is a smaller population and its less crowded meaning they can build bigger!

The yards look so tiny? Then again the weather is England is so dismal its not like people will be spending a lot of time outside all year round.

Everyone who says they are "HUGE" are from the North of England where they all live in terrace or semi detached houses. However in the South of England, these are middle class houses. Trust me, the upper class live in MUCH bigger houses than these.

@AStewart611, yes but British houses are made of brick and not match sticks that blow down in the slightest breeze.
-
@AStewart611 yeah, especially their egos and their arses.

lol you should see the size of the houses where i live..everyone of them is about 3 times the size of these..but seriously..it's not all about size :)

this is not a typical british house !!!, these houses will be very expensive to a normal family.
OMG those are huge! I'd love to live there. I spent a lot of my life in this really small house in Lozells near Birmingham and these are gigantic.

Oh, OK then ... This was my first trip to the UK, so I just thought these were typical.
