Here's a sample of some animation I did when I was an animation artist at Walt Disney Feature Animation from 1994 to 2002. I owe my mentor Glen Keane a million thanks for taking the time to teach me what Ollie Johnston taught him.
1.Long John Silver test scene. This is the first thing I animated under the instruction of Glen Keane. I wanted him to be glad he selected me to follow up and inbetween all of his scenes properly. The result speaks for itself.
2.Long John Silver test scene. I wanted to show range in my acting. The 1st test had Silver all intense and explosive. This map meant the world to him. He lost his eyes arm and leg chasing this map across the galaxy. But in scene two I wanted to portray a gentler side of Silver but with the subtext of deception. It was a tall order, but hey I don't like ruts!
3.Long John Silver Production scene. This is my first production scene! Here Silver is putting Jim through pirate camp. I just thought of my Dad "Supervising" me as a kid when I washed the family car.
4.Long John Silver Production scene, Jim Hawkins by John Ripa I believe
5.Alien Background Characters. Not only did John Musker and Ron Clements the directors of Treasure Planet let me animate this production scene they let me design the aliens.
6.Timon test. This was alot of fun to do but a pain to shoot.
7.Roger Test that's the best I could hope for after the transfer process I put the reel through.
8.Grumpy test. I don't know what possesed me to use Bones McCoy from Star Trek's famous flair for pronouncing someone dead. For the record that's sleepy or should I say BIG SLEEPY under the sheet.
9.Luke Test On this one,I sampled the dialog from Back to the Future III. Pat Buttram (yes I know! HA HA!)who did the voice of Luke on The Rescuers provided me a funny line on b2tf III.
10.Willy the Giant Yes that's Chris Farley from an old SNL sketch. Good one eh? Willy IS FUN TO ANIMATE! With Farley's voice as icing this test was cake!
11.Humphrey This is the test Eric Goldberg assigned me when I told him I wanted to be an animator. A classic challenge to send the posers away. I needed to have my character enter the scene spot a gum ball machine try to extract a gum ball fail to do so and then react to the failure.
11.Groo. Here I attempted to animate ol' whasthisname's Groo with the same attention to detail and flair he does the comic with.
I hope you enjoyed the cartoons.

Long John Silver 3: That was your idea to make that scene? Wow, how were you even able to come in contact with Glen Keane? <3 <3

@nddlj
Dude, I was his inbetweener and animation assistant on Treasure Planet. I assisted him on every scene he did on that film. He mentored me for 2 years, in fact those Silver scenes were done under his supervision!
